Dole book listing the amounts of money distributed to individual paupers of Lutton, Lincs, each year from 1818 to 1846. No index.

Detailed usage description

Thos Blank of Gedney 'gave eighteen acres of pasture land in Broadgate St Edmonds to the use of the impotent poor of Lutton 27th May 1368'. The rent due for this and 'usual outgoings' (presumably for administration) for each year are noted after the list for each year of recipients and money distributed. If one of your ancestors received this dole you could find out from this book when they first became classed as among the 'impotent poor' and for how long they remained so.
