This manuscript volume contains the accounts of a farm in Warwickshire, apparently near Bedworth, probably from the period 1625-1675. It sets out the amounts paid, sometimes for various tasks undertaken on the farm, sometimes to named labourers as weekly wages and sometimes the amounts paid to named labourers for specific duties. Amounts spent on a piece of land, on animals and on household purchases are also sometimes given.
This source could be used to enhance a local historical study of the period by the addition of colourful detail.
