News and events concerning Helpers
The first free Helpers introductory seminar was held on Friday 9 December 2005 at Senate House Library, University of London. Twelve guests, ranging from archive professionals to local and family history end users, received presentations on making the best use of the Helpers web interface and on some of the collections featured, which were followed by some lively discussions, as well as an introduction to and tour of the Senate House Library Special Collections reading room. The second and third seminars took place in February and March.
